COMING THIS SUMMER.... We did a thing!

Something we’ve always been about here at Homegrown and Happiness is trying new things to encourage others to grow—both in their gardens and their homesteading journeys. And this year, we’re diving into something exciting!

We bought a Vevor Hoop House greenhouse! 🎉

It’s 15 x 7 x 7 feet and white, and if you’ve been on TikTok or browsing homesteading groups lately, you’ve probably seen these popping up everywhere. They’re a popular and affordable way to extend the growing season, but like any greenhouse, they come with their challenges. We did our research—reading tons of reviews and checking out the best ways to reinforce it to make sure it holds up well.

Where’s it going?

We’ll be setting it up on the west side of our home this spring, and we’re planning to fill it with metal raised beds for maximum growing space. The goal? To grow more food, for longer, and to share our experience with you all along the way!

We’ll be posting updates as we assemble, reinforce, and start growing inside the hoop house. If you’ve ever wondered whether a budget-friendly greenhouse is worth it—stay tuned!

This is just one of many exciting things happening on the homestead this year. We can’t wait to share it with you! 🌱💚

Are you growing with a greenhouse this year? Have any tips for us? Drop them in the comments! ⬇️
